Admittedly, much of what these styles do can be replicated with tools like the Web Developer Toolbar. The advantage I find with writing my own diagnostic styles is that I can tune them to present exactly the way I want them. Fantastic list of tools to grade your website's readiness against SEO, standards, accessibility, etc. I already use a fair number of these, but this is a great list to start from if you're lacking in these areas

Ask almost any teacher or principal, and they will tell you that testing has gotten out of hand. The biggest complaint is directed at the federal No Child Left Behind law. The law requires that schools test all students in grades 3 through 8 once per year in reading and math.
